Blow and Go-Glassblowing Gift Voucher

The gift voucher price includes the cost of the class plus 5.5% to cover the cost of sales tax due at the time of booking.  Purchase of gift voucher covers the cost of the class at the time of purchase and gives the user price increase protection for 3 months from the date of purchase.  If the cost of the class increases after you purchase the gift card, you will still be able to book your class at the former price for up to 3 months from the purchase date.  If the coupon holder books a class 3 or more months after the date of voucher purchase, they will have to pay the difference in cost at checkout.

Description

Blow and Go is a quick introduction to furnace (offhand) glassblowing and sculpting.  You will work with one of our glassblowers to help create your own unique design!  Each class is about 30-45 minutes long per person.  You will select and apply colors to your piece and help to shape it.  We have a selection of class offerings that you may choose from the menu.  In the Ornament or Paperweight class, you may choose from a blown object, like an ornament, or a sculpted object, like a flower, paperweight, heart or starfish.  In the Tumbler class, you will be creating a drinking tumbler/stemless wine glass. You can also make a small vase, bowl or a mushroom and flower. Best of all, you get to keep whatever you help create! 

The class is held at our outdoor hotshop.  We generate a lot of heat, in addition to what Mother Nature provides, so you should be prepared to sweat (or at least glow), which means you should bring Gatorade or your favorite drink.  We have filtered tap water in our coffee shop, as well as bottled water and other drinks for sale.  We will have adequate ventilation and a fan in the work area.  We provide safety glasses, which must be worn.  If you have prescription glasses, wear contacts if possible.  You may be able to wear the safety glasses over your prescription–we have special safety glasses for that purpose.

The class is limited to ages 18 and up unless it is taken with a parent or guardian, in which case the minimum age is 7.  You must also sign a release before you can take the class. The release and more class information can be downloaded once you purchase your class session.  The class may be taken as a group, with each person taking their turn to make their art piece while others watch or assist.  The price is the same for each participant and we add 30-45 minutes for each person, or whatever time it takes to make their piece. A group of 4 would take from 2 to 3 hours.  If you are taking this as a group, you may reserve and pay for consecutive sessions for each of your participants, or select one of the group sessions if available. 

Gift Voucher Policy

Gift vouchers do not have an expiration date.  They are refundable up to 30 days from the date of purchase to the original purchaser only.  Proof of purchase is required for refunds.  Refunds are subject to a 5% processing fee.

After 30 days from the date of purchase, gift vouchers are not refundable.  They may be used online or in our gallery.
